Extended 12-Hour Specific Semiautomatic Firearm Safety Course (SB25-003)
*Before you take this class, you must have completed your CPW application, name-based criminal background check and received an eligibility card through your local sheriff's department.
Beginning August 1, 2026, Colorado law requires individuals to complete a state-certified firearms safety course before purchasing or transferring specified semiautomatic firearms (SSF's). Dragonman’s Firearms is proud to offer the official Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) 12-Hour Extended Firearms Safety Course — the comprehensive option designed for students who do not have a recent certified hunter education background.
This in-depth, in-person program delivers the knowledge, skills, and responsible mindset every Colorado gun owner needs to handle firearms safely and lawfully.
