Description

The Glock 19 Gen 6 is an optics-ready 9mm compact pistol featuring a 15-round capacity and a 4.02″ barrel. Key upgrades include enhanced RTF6 texturing, a flat-faced trigger, an integrated beavertail, and a redesigned direct-mount optics system. The Gen 6 redesign heavily prioritizes ergonomics and user feedback. Standout features and improvements include: Optics Mounting System: Features polymer spacers that act as “crush washers,” allowing for a direct, lower-profile mount for RMR-footprint optics without relying on bulky adapter plates. 
  • Frame & Grip: Finger grooves have been removed, replaced by an integrated beavertail, pronounced trigger guard undercut, and built-in palm swells designed to fit the average hand. 
  • Trigger: Comes standard with a flat-faced trigger featuring a slightly reduced reach from the back of the frame, providing improved leverage and consistent finger placement. 
  • Controls: Ambidextrous slide lock levers are shielded by raised frame sections (fencing) to prevent accidental engagement with a high thumbs-forward grip. 
  • Slide Serrations: Front and rear slide serrations are cut deeper to provide a more secure grip during manipulation. Compatibility: While the new barrels are not compatible with older generations, the Gen 6 retains backward compatibility with standard Gen 5 holsters and double-stack 9mm magazines.
